Film Photography – Black & White Film Roll #1

One of my hobbies includes photography.  I own a vintage Sears 35mm SLR film camera.  The camera was manufactured for Sears by Ricoh.   I occasionally use it for black & white film photography.  Below are some photographs that I shot with the camera.

Using this camera is a real pleasure.  The fact that you have to manually focus the camera makes you feel a bit more connected with the subject.  Also, shooting film you have a limited number of photographs.  This tends to make you much more selective about the subjects you decide to dedicate an exposure to.  This is a stark contrast to shooting with my Canon DSLR with auto-focus, image stabilization, & a nearly infinite number of exposures you can use on a shoot.
